Like many parents, we began searching for a simple solution. But nothing felt quite right.
But it didn’t seem to exist. So we decided to create it ourselves. |
How We Began
It all started with a moment we’ll never forget. When our daughter Roya turned two, we travelled to her grandparents’ home to celebrate her birthday. One afternoon, we laid her down for a short nap on an adult bed — something many parents have done countless times. We stepped away briefly… and then we heard the sound every parent fears. A heavy thud. Roya had rolled off the bed and onto the floor. She was thankfully okay — no tears, no injuries — but our hearts were racing. In that moment, one thought stayed with us: “What if next time we’re not so lucky?”

Why AiRoya is Different
When it comes to products our children sleep beside, materials matter.
Many inflatable bed guards on the market are made from PVC plastic. PVC is popular because it’s cheap and dense — and yes, it can hold air well. That’s why it’s often used in lower-cost products.
But as parents, we had concerns.
PVC usually needs chemical softeners to make it flexible. These chemicals can slowly release over time — and that didn’t sit right with us for something our child would sleep next to, touch, and cuddle against night after night.
So we asked a different question:
